At school, I wasn't so into into make up. I was the 'plain and simple' girl of a convent school, which could be because of the strict rules we had. It's been almost 2 years since I first started using makeup(around the second year of my college) and now I end up spending a lot of my money on it. I am not a fan of foundation or blush and stuff like that. But I definitely invest in a good lipstick and and good quality kohl. Lip and eye-make up are the must for me. I used to have a huge collection of glosses before, but now my favorites would be cherry red, peaches and nudes. It better to invest in quality products which last longer on your face, as well as on your shelf. So, here are my list of top three lip stick brands that you should check out.
Revlon
Revlon is such an amazing brand when it comes to any kind of product. I have used their mascaras, their eye shadows, their lip glosses and of course the lipsticks. They make some absolutely wonderful finishes in gorgeous colors. They range between Rs.400-600 and have a classy packaging. My favourite Revlon colors are Revlon Color Burst Mauve & Revlon Super lustrous Cha Cha Cherry. Both of them look gorgeous on a medium fair skin and stay on for a good amount of time. So next time you're at the mall don't forget to check out the Revlon counter!
Maybelline
It offers such amazing products at such affordable prices. I love their lip products, be it glosses or lipsticks. I own a few of their lipsticks and lip glosses. They cost somewhere around Rs.300 and delicious The packaging is just fine. Its value for money and if you are a lipstick lover like me, you must try it.
Colorbar
This is a brand which is both amazing and costs the least out of all the brands. I love their soft touch lipstick range. Love the shades Cherry Red and Flueron. Their packaging is pretty good but what I love the most is the color pay off of their lipsticks. Another amazing thing is that their Matte lipsticks are not drying unlike most brands. And the best past is they stay on over the day, a little dab will do the magic with the retouch.
